When we moved to Florida almost two years ago, Adam was so excited with the possibility of having fruit trees in our own yard. Not long after, he received two trees, a tangerine and a lime, as birthday gifts from his parents. We picked an area and planted the two little trees. We have pruned them and fertilized. In the cold of Florida winter, we have wrapped them in blankets to protect them from frost. The reward of our TLC has arrived - our first lime was ready to be picked last weekend.
So the question is asked - what do you do when life gives you limes? ... Make a (insert drink here) Gin and Tonic! Corona! Captain and Coke!

i can vouch for how yummie this lime was ... my drink of choice for the celebration was captain and diet.. mmmmm now grandma jo has fresh limes for key lime pie when she visits :)
