We spent just 24 hours at Walt Disney World this weekend, and it was such a fun little vacation! I feel so spoiled. Thank you Nana and Papa for letting us use your vacation club, it was a blast!
Just a year ago, we went to Animal Kingdom at Disney World and took photos of my expanding belly, and animal pictures. This year, Aiden enjoyed the trip by meeting some of the characters from The Jungle Book. He loved Baloo the bear, so much that he held onto him and Baloo had to follow us away from the greeting area. I didn't even know it was happening - I had my back turned!
Aiden giggled the whole time he met with these furry friends. Will he go through a faze when these characters seem frightening?
The evening and next morning were spent at the Boardwalk. It was great! We had a great room, good company (Ben and Michele drove down to join us) and perfect weather. This weekend was the Disney Marathon weekend, and this morning thousands ran past our room, right at the 24 mile marker. We went outside and cheered so many of the participants on, what an inspiration. After checking out of the room, we spent a few more hours at the pool, and Aiden went swimming for the first time in several months. He is such a little fish! Will he take after mommy and be a swimmer? Watch out Phelps!
