22 Weeks

Twin Pregnancy. 22 weeks. Baby legs and arms are poking out of my abdomen, and middle of the night leg cramps, the inability to sleep, breathe, climb steps, or carry laundry, and many other crazy symptoms of the life changes happening very quickly in the Kastl house are compounding daily.

These boys are crazy! They are awake seemingly all the time, and the Perinatologist asked "what are you feeding them?" when they both measured over a pound at the last ultrasound. For comparison's sake, my BabyCenter app. said the babys should be around 10 oz. at that point.

The saving grace of all my boys, large and small, is that we are doing this together. Thank heaven for my husband, who doesn't mind when dinner is forgotten; and my little buddy, who graciously will watch Clifford over and over if mommy is feeling a little worn down. And, of course, thank heaven for my little meatballs, kicking away in the belly.

I've taken to sleeping on the sofa, because my back aches in bed. The list of things that have taken place in the last few months was comically long when I told Adam "it's all part of your master plan" to have the queen bed all to himself.
