Vistors and Spring Training

We have had so many visitors in the last few weeks, and it has been so great to share our home with family and friends from up north. Scott and Paloma were here a few weeks ago on the way to a cruise and were great to see. The trip was cut short because of airline delays, but we had a great time here lounging by the pool and reminiscing of the college life. Some may have even pretended they still were living the college life...

Our next visitors were Grandma Otto, and travel partner extraordinaire, Paul G. Their expedition took them all over the great state of Florida until they finally made it to Lake Mary. We had a really nice time visiting, although the trip was too short for my liking. No pictures taken unfortunately to document the trip, but I was so glad that they got to see our new house and see how we do it down here!

Dad stopped in on the way to his golf trip last weekend, long enough to have a few beers and scrub our pool a little for us... the pool is in dire straights by the way, I am not the pool caretaker that I thought I was, who would have thought that a pool turns green without enough chlorine??

And then there was Mom and Uncle Moon, who came at the same time as Dad and stayed for the long weekend. We had a great time at the Indians v. Tigers spring training game, and really enjoyed the company. The weather just starting feeling like summer last week, and its been great to have shorts on and get a little sun again. It will be very challenging with our new job schedules to get out of town in the coming months, so we are so thankful to have great friends and family to visit. Thanks again!

Last weekend we were at another training game - Tigers v. Red Sox in Lakeland, FL. We saw the starters play a great game, complete with a full team rush to the mound and ejections of the Tigers' pitcher and manager! Spring training is one of our favorite events we have been part of in our new state of Florida.
