Thank you for visiting my blog. This website is a fun way for me to document our life and adventures. I don't think for a moment anything about Sand Kastls is newsworthy, but if you want to read along, enjoy!
I'm a wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, traveler, swimmer, runner, sports fan, foodie, and blogger. As a transplant to Florida from Ohio (via Indiana, Michigan, and Kentucky), I love to share my experiences and thoughts with friends and family.
Yes, to be honest, the gooey, sprinkled mush was delicious. Just minor error on the cook time, and the sprinkles were rolled onto the outside of the dough when in log form, so that they would just show on the outside edge. The center was to be iced with a lemon flavored icing. The picture of this cookie in the magazine was beautiful, my representation, not so much. Was cooking them to take to a friendly gathering, ended up taking a Sam's Club Coconut Creme Pie.

Can you make the cheese cake when I come and visit next year?
of course!
Ha, did Wally get into them? :)
Brief but hilarious post! Did they taste better than they looked?
