Up North

After a great weekend in Midland, we packed our bags again and headed even farther North to Elk Lake, crossing our fingers for a hint of a white Christmas. The snow never really came, but the Lake was beautiful. We enjoyed staying warm inside, and some walks down by the water. Adam and I did not go so far as to re-enact our engagement at Skegemog Point, but we did do some canoodling and reminiscing of that romantic day in 2004!

Ava was especially attentive to her baby, giving her plenty of fresh air!! And, some more canoodling... After we spent two days at Elk Lake, we headed down to Troy to celebrate Christmas with the extended family and take part in the 1st ever cousins' scavenger hunt. The battle was well fought, but the victory was secured by the power house team of Alan, Jon, Lexi, and myself. We then ate, drank (pop), and were merry at Aunt Sharon and Uncle Al's house.

Oh yeah, and if you didn't know it, Abby is preg-o! Congrats to the McChesney family!
